Community & the Jungle Circle
Everything Community Corner talks about lives here after the show ends: real dates, deadlines, and standing resources, with the details to actually use them. And the Circle is one click away — the neighbors whose monthly support keeps the hosting paid, the production running, and the community work covered, so the news on this page never has to carry a price tag. Your voice. On the board. On the air. The station’s community board: neighborhood announcements and listener shout-outs, posted here and read on air — by the Conductor on the rides, and by Emperor Baoyu at night. Real submissions only — nothing on this board is invented, ever.
Approved announcements and shout-outs, posted here and read on air. Real submissions only — nothing on this board is invented, ever.
The board is open — and honestly empty.
No announcements or shout-outs have been posted yet. The first voices on this board will be yours.
Block events, church programs, school news, local services — if it serves the neighborhood, it belongs here. Email shoutouts@concretejungleradio.com with the subject “Announcement.”
Birthdays, anniversaries, encouragement, dedications. Email shoutouts@concretejungleradio.com with the subject “Shout-Out” — who it’s for, who it’s from, and what you want said.
Approved submissions post on this board and are read on air at night by Emperor Baoyu — in his evening block and inside City Sounds — and on the rides by the Conductor (Ride to Work, weekdays 8:00–8:55 AM; The Ride Home, weekdays 5:55–7:55 PM). Overnight, The Nightkeeper keeps the :55 check-ins (12:55–4:55 AM). Dedications land around 11:28 PM. The Family’s shout-out is read at night.
The form is the fast door. It lands in the station’s moderation queue, and a human reviews every submission before anything posts on this board or is read on air. That review is the promise that keeps this board real: nothing invented, nothing automatic. To send an announcement, say who it is for, what it is, and the day, date, time, and place — the five details the Corner needs to list it. For a shout-out, say who it’s for, who it’s from, and what you want said. Email still works too — the addresses above reach the same desk.

Listener Vote
The board talks back: this month’s top shout-out contributors stand on the same ballot as the month’s reviewed artists. One vote per email, free always. The winner takes a New Voice Tuesday spotlight and a guest seat at The Cipher.

The slot aired 12–2 PM ET on a placeholder hour while the real edition was in production.

Take the station with you
The station flyer is one page, ready to print — and the half-letter handout beside it, two to a sheet, cut in half and passed on. Both carry the clock, the request line, the job board, the umbrella, and the Circle — and nothing they cannot prove: no dial, no awards, no listener counts. Every line was checked against its source before the files were made: 36 of 36 true on the flyer, 36 of 36 true on the handout, 72 of 72 total. The code on the flyer scans straight to the station — concretejungleradio.com — and nowhere else.
The full station flyer — the clock, the request line, the job board, the umbrella, and the Circle — on one Letter page.
The same flyer condensed — two to a Letter sheet. Cut on the “cut here” line and pass both halves on.
Real dates, real doors. One list, nearest first. Standing resources are listed exactly as printed on the Housing Law Referrals sheet dated July 2025 — numbers and hours may have changed since, so call ahead. An entry that cannot be re-verified is pulled, not left to rot.

The Job Board
Bronx media jobs, first — for the people who make the sound.
The station’s board for work in our industry: community and commercial radio stations, podcast networks, audio production houses, music labels and artist teams, streaming and local media outlets, and Bronx media and community organizations.
How it works
An employer fills in the form below — the organization, the role, where it is, what kind of work it is, and how to apply. A salary range is welcome but never required.
Every submission lands in the station’s moderation queue, and a human reads every one. Nothing is published automatically — nothing invented, nothing automatic.
Approved listings go up on this board, in their category, with the employer’s own words and the employer’s own way to apply. We never invent an apply link.
A flat fee, not an auction — priced below what the big general boards charge for one listing. The fee is the fee: no per-applicant charge, no per-click charge, no hidden charges, no “starting at” games. The Desk reviews every submission first; an approved listing goes live once the fee is paid, and the Desk’s reply tells you how to pay.
$49
Your listing live for 30 days in its category — human review, your words, your way to apply.
$89
Everything standard buys, plus the top of its category and the top of the board for the 30 days — plainly labeled Featured.
Free
Bronx community organizations, and volunteer and internship roles, post free — always. The paid lanes fund the free lane.
The board
Every listing here was checked against the employer’s own posting before it went up.

Community service
This board exists so Bronx people find Bronx work in the industry that raised them — and so the stations, studios, labels, and organizations doing that work find the people who already know the sound. Bronx media jobs come first here, always. The free community lane stays free: a neighbor with a role to fill is heard the same as any employer.
While you’re here, the station is on: Rafael “El Parrandero” carries Saturdays and Domingo “El Consejero” carries Sundays, and the weekday cast keeps the clock on the :55. Listen live →

For Sponsors & Promoters
The night audience is awake, listening, and grown. Our announcement and promo slots inside the late-night programming are open to real sponsors and promoters — produced in Emperor Baoyu’s voice, over the city-street bed, inside shows listeners stay for. Barter-first, per the station’s sponsorship plan: on-air liners traded for in-store flyers, counter cards, and social posts. Anything paid is decided case by case.
Start with an email: shoutouts@concretejungleradio.com, subject “Announcement” — or see the full sponsor program (barter credits, membership tiers, and the weekly auction these slots are joining) on the Sponsors & Partners page.
The law of this lane: announcements, promos, and shout-outs air only for real submissions that exist. No business is ever named as a sponsor until the relationship actually exists.
